Wow, this morning was a tough run.  I felt like I was dragging my legs the ENtire time!  It wasn't until mile 4 that I realized why I was so sluggish.  We have afternoon church, so yesterday I didn't get much of a lunch; and then I didn't eat dinner because I was feeling sad about some news I'd received.  So, even though I had eaten a little here and there ... missing meals = tough run.  Note to self!  ; )

I love how you emphasized ENtire! I could really feel it!

Sorry about the sad news.

Great job on the 5 miles!

I just don't get people who need to be reminded to eat...but still, I'm sorry you had a draggy run. Too bad I couldn't have been there to drag myself through 5 with you. I felt the same way today because I was fasting yesterday about the same news. That's probably why the cactus fruit suddenly looked tempting! I've run past that thing hundreds of times and NEVER thought of it until today. *Snigger*

It was probably good for you to get out even if you were dragging. I hope you're feeling better about the sad news- thinking of you!

(oh yeah- to answer your question my new job is as a social worker in domestic violence for the state of utah. I love it, but working FT (out of home vs. working at home like I used to) and juggling kids out of school for the summer is taking some getting used to!)
