6.62 miles on a mountain bike on a hill-y trail. My husband took our two youngest girls in the bike trailer, but he still kicked my trash! My legs (and behind) were good and tired when I got home. It was a really good workout for me, much prettier scenery than being on the elliptical, fun to exercise with my husband, and easier on my hip. Yea!!!!

I like the handicap on Mike of pulling the girls. You may have to find a way to exercise that does not wear out your hip. Life is pretty long. Sounds like you are having fun though. I vote the 4 of you go every day. The girls will love it and it is good for both of you and great scenery.

Good job finding alternate entertaining exercise and giving the hip a break. Maybe alternating is the key!

That is so amazing. Riding a bike up a hill would kill me pretty quickly. You and Lybi are so amazing that I'm starting to feel like a bum :)

Have you asked you doctor about stretches and stuff that can help align you back and pelvis? I've had a few doctors recommend stretches that have helped a lot. It might not help in your case but it might be worth asking :)

Thanks, everyone!!

Mom, I don't think I'll be able to do it everyday - my hind end can't handle that yet, plus the girls weren't too keen on it. ;oS

Kristina, how can you possibly think you're a bum!?!? You're out there running too!!
