I finally broke my 7 week record of not running on Mondays today. (It's about time!!!) Both babies were asleep and the weather's unusually warm this morning, so I turned the baby monitors up loud for my husband to hear and headed out the door!!

Beautiful morning - a little chilly with the wind - but sunny and happy. No walking again today! Brent, you were right about the 3 mile hurdle. Now that I've gone 3 miles, I certainly don't want to wimp out on the 2 milers. I feel like I'm finally improving. The first 2 months felt like such slow progress, it almost felt like a hopeless cause. But now I'm more confident and stronger!

Excellent job! I always feel great when I get out on Mondays- starts the week off right and gives that sense of accomplisment to propel me through the week- hope it does the same for you!!!

I agree, good job Laura! Running on Monday gets me off on a good note for the week as well. Congratulations on being able to go the distance without walking. You are already reaping the benefits in your cardiovascular system from the amount of training you are currently doing. I saw the same thing happen with Lybi when she started training as well (and with me too!). Keep up the good work, and you will be enjoying the benefits for the rest of your life.

Laura, great positive attitude, keep that attitude on tough days. I sure you will be earning big commando points in the future. Good to read your positive blog. Someday, the marathon bug may bite.

Yes! It seems like every time I look at your blog, you are improving and feeling better and better. Those first 2 months are definitely the hardest, aren't they! But now you've made it over the hump. Do you have any new races planned?

You are doing so awesome! Way to keep it up and keep pushing forward! Things only get better from here!

Wow Laura! I'm really impressed with how much you are running. Congrats on not stopping! Keep it up!
